Central Park Conservancy 

 

On Saturdays from September through December and April through June, students ages 13-18 are invited to give back to their community and promote good stewardship by helping the Conservancy with seasonal projects in Central Park. Projects may include raking, weeding, or mulching depending on the season.

 

Registration opens 2 weeks before each event. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

4 million babies are born every year. Send a note of hope to a mom or dad. Sharing your advice, experience and words of encouragement! or to healthcare providers, nurse and frontline workers to ensure that moms and babies are having the best care possible. 

ZOONIVERSE: 

VIRTUAL EVENT

Volunteers will be helping Zooniverse, "the world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research."  There are many options to explore through Zooniverse: You can (but are not limited to!!) help classify wildlife through "Chimp&See," increase scientists' understanding of pelican nesting through "PELIcams," compile data on biodiversity and the commercial use of fish species through "Fishing in the Past," and more!!
